1981, IsraelĀ Rachel (Michaela Eshet) is slowly realizing that after the death of her husband life has become more and more difficult not just for her but for her two daughters as well. Considering a fresh start and perhaps a better future for her girls Rachel decides that the best thing to do is to apply for the new settlement everyone is talking about which is to be built somewhere on the West Bank. Unfortunately a single woman with a rather shaky "image" within the local community is anything but the perfect candidateĀ as Rachel is told by the leader of the Zionist committee.
